DAYLIGHT BASEMENT 1491 SQ FT – FAMILY ROOM, 1 BEDROOM, small FULL BATH with TUB, STORAGE/MECHANICAL ROOM

Picture this as your perfect home or vacation lodge set into a hillside overlooking a beautiful lake. The grand FOYER steps down into the vaulted GREAT ROOM with a wall of windows framing the breath-taking view in front of you. Decorative log columns create a division between rooms as you step up into the open KITCHEN and DINING ROOM area.

Downstairs enjoy the relaxed FAMILY ROOM of your wonderful hillside home.

The photo illustrates how the finishing touches to the exterior can create the look of a log lodge. The owner had thick slabs of log bolted onto the frame from the inside and then chinked it for an authentic appearance.

This house plan is named after the Elkhorn Mtns which are in the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon, not far from Baker City.
